據(jù)《今日美國》(USA Today) 報道，迪士尼新任首席執(zhí)行官鮑勃·查貝克 (Bob Chapek) 日前表示，備受關注的電影《花木蘭》將遵守撤檔后重新定下的檔期，按計劃于7月24日在北美及全球多地上映。

Disney's new CEO Bob Chapek maintained the July 24 release date for "Mulan" during the company's second quarter earnings conference call on May 5, saying he expects theaters will see "some return of semblance of normality in terms of number of screens and number of shows."

雖然近期電影還不能和大家見面，但《花木蘭》導演妮基·卡羅（Niki Caro）這兩天在社交媒體上分享了一些《花木蘭》的英文試鏡花絮視頻，沒想到，不少中國觀眾熟悉的名字都去參加了《花木蘭》的試鏡。

在試鏡視頻的配文中，導演卡羅贊揚了前來試鏡的女孩們，稱她們讓自己領會了“木蘭精神”。

"Finding the right actress to play Mulan was the single most important decision we needed to make, so we cast the net wide. It was a global search, open to anyone who wanted to audition. Here are just a few of the thousands who went on tape for us. I was so moved by their love for the character, their sincerity, and excitement. I hope everyone who tried out for Mulan knows that their passion is woven into the fabric of our movie, and that that all played a part in helping me understand and appreciate how beloved and important Mulan is to so many."

“找到飾演木蘭的正確人選是我們需要做出的最重要的決定，因此我們在全網(wǎng)范圍內進行選角。這是場全球搜尋，歡迎任何想要試鏡的人前來一試。視頻中只是上千名進行錄像試鏡的幾位。我感動于她們對于角色的熱愛、她們的誠摯以及熱情。我希望來試鏡木蘭的每個人都知道，她們的熱忱都已經(jīng)融入到了我們的電影中，這一切都幫助了我理解領會到木蘭原來深受這么多人喜愛，原來對于這么多人而言如此重要。”

除此之外，導演還分享了一段女主演劉亦菲首次試鏡的視頻，在視頻中劉亦菲還說了那句著名的臺詞“雙兔傍地走，安能辨我是雄雌”。

在配文中，導演透露了更多試鏡的幕后花絮：

"A short clip from Yifei’s first audition scene. Also the first day I met her. She had traveled from Beijing the day before, and had not slept due to the punishing jet lag between China and US time zones. We needed to see her do four scenes, one of which had five pages of dialogue. All in her second language. The audition took 2 hours, and then she went for a physical training session for another 90 mins. She was deeply exhausted, but never asked for a break, was totally focused, committed, and consistently brilliant. I saw the depth of her talent, her physical strength, her artistry and her undeniable spirit. I knew I’d found a partner, a collaborator, and a warrior. We loved her so much we delayed the shoot 6 months to wait for her to become available. Best decision we ever made."

“這是一段亦菲首次試鏡的短片。這也是我第一天見到她。她前一天剛從北京過來，由于中美之間巨大的時差沒有睡覺。我們需要她演四場戲，其中一場有五頁對話，全部是她的第二語言英語。試鏡持續(xù)了2小時，然后她進行了90分鐘的體能訓練環(huán)節(jié)，盡管很累，但她從未說要休息，且一直專注、堅定、出色。我看到了她出色的才華、體能、技藝以及不可否認的斗志。我知道我找到了一位伙伴、一個搭檔、一個戰(zhàn)士。我們十分喜歡亦菲，為了等她的檔期，我們推遲了6個月開拍。這是我們做過的最好的決定。”

導演卡羅此前在接受采訪時也坦言，拍攝這部電影最大的挑戰(zhàn)在于選角。

在看過劉亦菲高難度試鏡和高強度體能訓練的表現(xiàn)之后，卡羅便確信她找到了木蘭的人選，也找到了一位戰(zhàn)士，一位伙伴。
