當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間24日，CNN刊登了一篇文章“無(wú)人機(jī)、消毒機(jī)器人、超級(jí)計(jì)算機(jī)——新冠肺炎疫情是對(duì)中國(guó)技術(shù)企業(yè)的一次測(cè)試”，一一列舉了中國(guó)疫情中用的一些新技術(shù)。

This month, Tencent opened up its super-computing facilities — which include machines that can run calculations much faster than an ordinary PC — to help researchers racing to find a cure.

外媒關(guān)注中國(guó)高科技抗疫

除CNN之外，中國(guó)的抗疫無(wú)人機(jī)、機(jī)器人也登上其它多家外媒，在西方輿論場(chǎng)中形成一個(gè)新熱點(diǎn)。

《商業(yè)內(nèi)幕》（Business Insider）分享了一張視頻截圖，是一臺(tái)叫“小花生”的送餐機(jī)器人給隔離人員送餐。

全球電氣電子工程師學(xué)會(huì)IEEE官網(wǎng)也登了小花生的視頻，說(shuō)這些機(jī)器人能送藥、能送飯，還能打掃房間（using robots to deliver medicine, food, and disinfect rooms）。

列舉了中國(guó)抗疫機(jī)器人之后，他們還采訪了休斯敦賴斯大學(xué)的機(jī)器人專家Marcia O'Malley教授，這位教授對(duì)中國(guó)機(jī)器人一頓狠夸：

O'Malley said robots in China can do more than deliver medicine, however. Some can scan medicine inventory and remove outdated supplies. Others can spray disinfectants and can even prevent the spread of infectious diseases in public spaces.

O'Malley說(shuō)中國(guó)的機(jī)器人能干的可不止是送藥。有些能掃描藥品庫(kù)存，清理過(guò)期部分；有些能在公共場(chǎng)所噴灑消毒液以防止傳染病傳播。

 

"Robots can help with decontamination and reducing human-to-human transmission risk by reducing exposure," O'Malley said. "Artificial intelligence might be helpful in data science aspects, tracking information about the spread of cases to determine risk profiles and identify ways to limit spread if we understand better how it is spread.”

Over in Guangzhou, in southern Guangdong province, 5G-powered patrolling robots remind the public of the importance of frequent hand-washing and the mandatory donning of masks. The robots are also equipped with high-resolution cameras and infrared thermometers that are capable of scanning the body temperatures of 10 people at once.在廣州市，裝有5G網(wǎng)絡(luò)的機(jī)器人來(lái)回巡邏，向公眾普及勤洗手和戴口罩的必要性。這些機(jī)器人也裝備有高科技攝像機(jī)和紅外線測(cè)溫儀，能同時(shí)掃描10人的體溫。

Unmanned vehicles, both arial and terrestrial, have allowed the Chinese government to reduce the number of people put at risk of catching the virus.無(wú)論是天上的無(wú)人機(jī)，還是地上的無(wú)人車，都讓中國(guó)有能力降低公眾感染的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。

彭博社也深入廣東，找到了一家做無(wú)人機(jī)的企業(yè)。

Guangzhou-based agriculture drone manufacturer XAG is working to deploy a fleet of drones that can spray disinfectant on affected areas such as bus and train stations and other public spaces.廣州農(nóng)業(yè)無(wú)人機(jī)企業(yè)XAG正努力裝備一支無(wú)人機(jī)群，主要目的是對(duì)包括汽車站、火車站在內(nèi)的公共場(chǎng)所灑消毒液。

記得十幾二十年前，外媒提到中國(guó)還都是以國(guó)際關(guān)系報(bào)道為主，很少花篇幅報(bào)道中國(guó)科技進(jìn)步。

慢慢地，外媒關(guān)于中國(guó)科技的報(bào)道越來(lái)越多，用詞也越來(lái)越走向正面，這一波中國(guó)高科技抗疫的報(bào)道就是典型。
